The Role of the Members' Committee

What is it: A committee of members of Tall Pines Golf Club

Who are its members:

Treasurer: Richard Fox
Vice Captain: Alan Price
Lady Captain: Joyce Forrester
Seniors Captain: Alan House
Handicap & Competitions Secretary: Jim Hobday
Social Secretary: Phil Taylor
and two members: Paul Lewis and Sue Freestone


What is it's purpose:
To act as a liaison between the members and the Proprietors
of the Club and to govern the members of the Club in
accordance with the Club Rules and to receive, manage and
utilise income in promoting the activities of the Club for the
benefit of the membership as a whole.


What is the source of it's income:
That generated from Social events, Club competitions and
any other sources considered within its terms of office.


Why support social events:
The level of support that Social events receive directly affects
the income generated and the number of improvements to
member’s facilities.
